A building on the Oaxaca coast wrapped in a single timber diagrid that is structure, shade and identity at once. The lattice loosens and tightens with the program, open to the breeze and the ocean, closed where the sun is direct.

Planting threads through the diagonal frame so the architecture and the vegetation grow into one another. Built from straight wooden members, the iconic weave arrives on site as a kit of simple, repeatable parts.
